The Pathfinder Global Equity Strategy
The Pathfinder Global Equity Strategy is concentrated and fundamentally driven, with the objective of compounding capital over the long term. Investment opportunities are identified through a bottom-up, value-oriented research process; capital is committed only where intrinsic value can be established with a meaningful margin of safety.

Quality compounders
High-quality businesses purchased at reasonable prices; the core of the portfolio.
Special situations
Businesses of more ordinary quality whose price clearly understates their value.

Areas where broad value is readily apparent, supported by long-term economic drivers.
Portfolio construction
Concentration with conviction.
At least 65% of the strategy is always invested in global listed equities, with the balance held in cash, short-duration bonds and physical gold for liquidity, optionality and capital preservation.
The result is a concentrated portfolio of around 25 high-conviction positions; equity exposure is determined bottom-up by the opportunities available, informed — but not driven — by the prevailing global market environment. Single-name exposure is capped at 10%.
