Sean Patterson

Founder & Chief Investment Officer

Sean has worked in the private equity, real estate and wealth management industries for over 25 years.

Following a career in private equity, he founded Stonewood Wealth Management in 2011, a business managing investments for ultra-high-net-worth families with assets under management of over US$1.3 billion. In 2017 he co-founded Stonewood Alchemy Real Estate, which was the lead investor in real estate investments in the United States and the United Kingdom with gross transaction value of over US$500 million.

In 2025 Sean founded Blackwood Equity Partners, a principal investment firm deploying its own balance sheet across public markets, private markets and commercial real estate.

Drogheda Capital brings this experience to the stewardship of client capital — applying the same patient, valuation-led philosophy through the Pathfinder Global Equity Strategy and US commercial real estate investments.
